ABOUT AYCIN

Aycin was born in Germany in 1977. She revealed her interest in art at an early age, and managed to impress her teachers and friends with the extraordinary watercolor works she painted while she was still in primary school. Aycin, who has always stood out with her colorful and extraordinary character from a young age, spent different periods of her life living in Ethiopia, Germany, Turkey, Colombia and the United Kingdom. In addition, throughout her life, she travelled to colorful and extraordinary places such as Cuba, Zanzibar, Uganda, Chile, Israel, Italy and Poland. Inspired by her travels to countries with strong geographical and historical features, Aycin reached the peak of her creativity while she was pregnant with her first son, Leo.  She would spend hours exploring new ideas while thinking about decorating his room. In her works, she draws on the endless imaginative power of children, the experiences she had during her travels, and the energy of the people she loves.
